Delivery and timing

Can you deliver a porta potty today?

Same-day delivery is available in Fort Wayne and most of Allen County when you call (260) 290-5767 by 12 noon, Monday through Saturday, while units last. Towns 30–55 miles out need a call by 10 AM, and a $99 same-day fee is added to the quote. See same-day porta potty delivery.

Can you get a porta potty here in the next two hours?

A two-hour arrival is sometimes possible inside Fort Wayne when a driver is nearby, but it is never promised. Call so dispatch can check the closest truck while you are on the line. Most same-day orders arrive within 3–6 hours of the call.

How soon can you deliver to my job site without a rush fee?

Next-business-day delivery has no rush fee anywhere in Allen County and most nearby towns. Book by 5 PM and the unit arrives the following morning or afternoon. For towns more than 55 miles away, allow one extra day.

What time of day do you deliver?

Deliveries run between 7 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. Event units are dropped the day before your event so timing never cuts close. Jobsite units can be set for an early-morning window if your crew starts at 7.

Can I pick an exact delivery time?

Exact arrival times cannot be guaranteed, because routes depend on traffic and earlier stops. You get a morning (7–12) or afternoon (12–7) window, and the driver calls about 30 minutes before arriving.

Will the driver call before arriving?

Every driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving. Put the name and number of whoever will be on site on your order, and we call that person.

Do I have to be home for delivery or pickup?

You do not need to be home if the spot is marked. Put a cone, stake or ribbon where you want the unit, and tell us about gates or dogs. For pickup, leave the unit unlocked and reachable.

My site has no street address. How do I tell you where it is?

Text us a map pin, GPS coordinates or the nearest road crossing, plus a description of the gate or field entrance. Farm fields, new subdivisions and pipeline routes are delivered this way every week.

Do you service my town?

Delivery covers Fort Wayne, all of Allen County and towns within about 80 miles, including parts of northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. Use the ZIP checker or see the full service area list.

Why do you need my address or ZIP code to give a price?

Price depends on the distance from Fort Wayne to your site, because fuel and drive time change with every mile. A ZIP code is enough for a quote. The full address is only needed when you book.

Can I pick up the porta potty myself with my truck?

Customer pickup is not offered. A standard unit weighs about 165 pounds empty, must be strapped upright and is delivered with chemical in the tank. Our trucks deliver and collect every unit.

Weekends and holidays

My party is Saturday. When do you drop it off and pick it up?

Saturday events get delivery on Friday, or Saturday morning for same-day orders, and pickup on Monday. You pay one event price; the extra days are not charged.

Can you drop it off Friday and pick it up Monday?

Friday drop-off with Monday pickup is our standard weekend schedule, and it costs the same as a one-day rental.

I only need it for one day. Why does it sit there all weekend?

Drivers do not run routes on Sunday, so weekend units go out on Friday or Saturday and come back Monday. It costs nothing extra and means the unit is in place well before guests arrive.

Do you deliver on Saturday?

Saturday delivery is available from 7 AM to 7 PM, including same-day Saturday orders when you call by noon. Sunday has no deliveries or pickups.

Is there a per-day or per-hour rate?

Event units are not priced by the hour or day. One event price covers delivery before the event, up to 3 days on site and pickup the next business day. Jobsite units are priced per 28 days.

Can you pick it up the same evening so it is not left in the park overnight?

Same-evening pickup can be arranged for park events where the city or park does not allow overnight placement. It is added as a second trip on the quote. Tell us the park name when you book.

When will it be picked up if Monday is a holiday?

Units out over a holiday weekend are picked up on the next business day, usually Tuesday. You are not charged for the extra day.

How early should I book for a holiday weekend?

Book 2–3 weeks ahead for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends, and for graduation season in May and June. Regular weekends usually need about one week's notice.

Price and billing

How much does it cost to rent a porta potty in Fort Wayne?

A standard porta potty for a party or event costs $249 plus tax, including delivery and pickup in Allen County. A jobsite unit costs $199 per 28 days plus a one-time $95 delivery and pickup fee, with weekly cleaning included. See the full porta potty rental cost guide.

How much is a porta potty for one day?

A one-day rental costs the same as a weekend: $249 plus tax for a standard unit, delivered before the event and picked up the next business day.

How much is a porta potty per month?

A standard jobsite or long-term unit costs $199 per 28-day cycle with weekly service, plus a one-time $95 delivery and pickup fee. The first cycle is $294 plus tax; each cycle after that is $199 plus tax.

Does the price include delivery and pickup?

Event prices include delivery and pickup inside Allen County. Long-term rentals have one $95 delivery and pickup fee, charged once. Sites more than 25 miles from Fort Wayne add a mileage charge of $2 per mile past 25, shown on your quote.

What fees should I watch for on a quote?

Your quote lists the unit, delivery and pickup, any mileage, any same-day fee ($99), extra service visits ($85 each) and Indiana or Ohio sales tax. There is no fuel surcharge or card surcharge added later.

Is the price per unit or for the whole order?

Unit prices are per unit. The delivery and pickup fee or mileage charge is per order when all units go to one address on the same day.

Do you give a discount for more than one unit?

Orders of 5 or more units for one event, and contractors with 3 or more units on long-term rentals, get a lower per-unit price on the quote. Call with your count and dates.

Is the quote free, and can you text or email it?

Quotes are free and take about 2 minutes by phone. We can text or email the itemized quote so you can share it with a spouse, a committee or a general contractor.

How does billing work for long rentals? Monthly or every 28 days?

Long-term rentals bill every 28 days, not every calendar month. Each 28-day cycle includes 4 weekly service visits. The card on file is charged at the start of each cycle while the unit is on site.

If I only need it for two weeks, do I still pay for 28 days?

Jobsite rentals have a 28-day minimum, so a 2-week job pays for one cycle. For jobs of 7 days or less, an event-style rental at $249 is usually cheaper. Ask and we will price both.

Do I get money back if I return it early?

A 28-day cycle is not prorated once it starts. Billing stops at the end of the cycle in which you request pickup, so call before your next cycle date to avoid another charge.

Are nonprofits and churches exempt from sales tax?

Tax-exempt churches, schools and nonprofits pay no sales tax when they send a valid Indiana ST-105 or Ohio exemption certificate before delivery.

Cleaning and servicing

How often is the porta potty cleaned?

Every rental longer than 7 days gets one service visit per week, included in the price. Event rentals of 3 days or less arrive clean and fully stocked and do not need a mid-rental visit.

What happens on a service visit?

The service tech pumps the waste tank, scrubs the seat, walls, floor and urinal, adds fresh blue deodorizer, refills toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and checks the door latch. Visits are logged with the date.

Can I get cleaning twice a week?

Extra service visits cost $85 each and can be added as a standing second day each week. Crews over 10 people working long days, and summer events in heat, often need it.

Only one person uses it. Can you clean it every other week for less?

Weekly service is the minimum on every long-term rental. Waste and heat cause odor and bacteria growth within a week, even with light use.

Can you pump out a porta potty I already own?

Pump-out service for customer-owned units costs $135 per visit in Allen County, including fresh water and deodorizer. It runs on our scheduled route days and can be one-time or recurring.

Does it come stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer?

Every unit arrives with toilet paper, a hand sanitizer dispenser and deodorizer in the tank. Deluxe units also have soap and paper towels at the sink. Supplies are restocked on every service visit.

We rent standard porta potties, deluxe flushing units with a sink, wheelchair-accessible units, hand wash stations and restroom trailers. Compare them on the porta potty units page.

A standard unit has a toilet seat over a 60-gallon tank, a urinal, a vent stack, a toilet paper holder, a hand sanitizer dispenser and a locking door with an occupied sign. It needs no water or power.

What is a deluxe or flushing porta potty?

A deluxe flushing unit has a foot-pump flush toilet, a built-in sink with a foot-pump faucet, soap, paper towels and a mirror. It holds its own fresh water, so it needs no hookups.

How can a porta potty have a sink with no water hookup?

Deluxe units and hand wash stations carry their own fresh-water tank. A foot pump pushes water to the faucet, and used water drains into a separate gray-water tank that we empty on service.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible units?

Wheelchair-accessible units have a ground-level floor, a wide door, grab bars and room inside for a wheelchair to turn. Plan at least one for any public event and wherever a guest uses a wheelchair or walker.

The price difference is small, because delivery, setup and stocking cost about the same. Most renters choose the 2-station trailer, which can be split into men's and women's sides.

What colors are the units?

Units come in blue, green, gray or pink depending on stock that week. Ask when you book if color matters for photos, and we will match units for your date when we can.

We already have a bathroom in the house. Do we still need one per 50 guests?

An open indoor bathroom counts as one unit. For 100 guests with one indoor bathroom open, one rented unit usually covers a 4-hour party.

Placement and access

Where should the porta potty go?

Pick a firm, level spot within 25 feet of where a service truck can park, at least 10 feet from tents or food, and downwind if possible. Driveways, gravel pads and flat lawn all work.

Can it go on my driveway or lawn?

Driveways and flat lawns both work. On grass, the unit sits flat on the turf and leaves only a light mark. Avoid sprinkler heads, septic lids and soft ground after heavy rain.

How much room does the delivery truck need?

Our delivery truck needs a path about 10 feet wide and 12 feet high, clear of low branches and wires. If the spot is behind a fence, the crew can walk a standard unit in on a dolly through a gate 4 feet wide or wider.

Will a porta potty fit through my gate?

A standard unit is about 43.5 inches wide and 47 inches deep, so it needs a gate at least 48 inches wide. Wheelchair-accessible units are about 62 inches wide and usually go around the fence, not through it.

Can a porta potty sit on the street or sidewalk?

A street, sidewalk or alley spot inside Fort Wayne needs a Right of Way permit from the city. Placement on your own driveway or yard does not. See porta potty permits in Fort Wayne.

Can you put it in a backyard?

Backyard placement works when there is a firm path about 4 feet wide for a standard unit and no steps. The crew wheels it in on a dolly. For weekly service, the tech needs the same access each visit.

Can you move the unit to another spot on my site?

Moving a unit during a scheduled service visit is free. A move on another day costs $75 per trip. Tell us a day ahead so we can plan it.

Do you need to know about obstacles?

Tell us about locked gates, gate codes, low wires, dogs, steep slopes and soft ground when you book. This avoids a failed delivery trip, which is billed if the crew cannot reach the spot.

Construction and jobsites

What does a jobsite porta potty cost per month?

A standard jobsite unit costs $199 per 28 days, a unit with a built-in sink costs $259 and a wheelchair-accessible unit costs $279, each with weekly service. A one-time $95 delivery and pickup fee is added once.

Do you offer a toilet with a sink for my crew?

Our supplier did not deliver. Can you get a unit to my jobsite today?

Same-day jobsite delivery is available in Allen County and nearby towns when you call by noon. The $99 same-day fee is added to the first 28-day cycle. After that you pay the normal 28-day rate.

Can you set up one order for two job sites close together?

Each address is its own order, because each site gets its own service stop. You can keep them on one account with one invoice.

Contractors with steady work get one account, one invoice, a set service day for every site and a direct line to dispatch. Approved commercial accounts can pay by invoice. Call to set it up.

Can you give me a written price to include in a bid?

Written quotes are emailed the same day, listing unit, service frequency, delivery, mileage and tax per site. Prices on a written quote are held for 30 days.

Do you also rent dumpsters or fencing?

We rent portable toilets, hand wash stations and restroom trailers only. For dumpsters or temporary fence, a local roll-off company can handle that.

Events, parties and weddings

Wedding units can arrive two days before the wedding at no extra charge, so they are in place for the rehearsal. See wedding restroom rental.

Fort Wayne Parks and many venues ask for proof of restroom rental. We email a booking confirmation with dates, unit count and placement once the order is paid.

The city shut off our water for a pipe repair. What should we rent?

For a short water shutoff, a deluxe unit with a flushing toilet and a sink covers a household or small office. For a business with staff or customers, add a hand wash station.

We are living in an RV on our property during a rebuild. What do you offer?

A standard or flushing unit on a 28-day rental with weekly service works beside an RV. Pump-out service for RV holding tanks is not offered.

Can you bring a porta potty for a family member who needs more room?

A wheelchair-accessible unit has room for a caregiver, a wide door and grab bars, and costs $349 per event or $279 per 28 days.

Can you supply restrooms for an emergency shelter or disaster?

Emergency managers and shelters can call for multiple units, hand wash stations and restroom trailers. We dispatch the same day when trucks and units are available, and plan service around the shelter's headcount.

Payment, cancellation and damage

How do I pay? Do you take cash?

Payment is by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express) when you book. Approved businesses can pay by invoice. Cash is not taken by drivers.

Do you need full payment up front?

Event rentals are paid in full when booked, which reserves the unit for your date. Long-term rentals pay the first 28-day cycle up front, then each cycle as it starts.

Can you hold a unit while I compare prices?

Quotes are held for 7 days, but a unit is only reserved for your date once the order is paid. Busy weekends sell out, so book as soon as you decide.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel at least 24 hours before delivery for a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or after the truck has left, are charged a $75 trip fee. See the rental terms.

Who pays if the unit is vandalized or tipped over?

The renter is responsible for damage beyond normal use while the unit is on site, including vandalism, fire and tipping. Normal wear is on us. Placing units away from roads and parking lanes lowers the risk.

Are you responsible for damage to my lawn or driveway?

Units sit on the surface and rarely leave more than a light mark. Tell us about sprinkler lines, septic lids and soft ground before delivery, because we cannot see what is under the surface.

Permits and rules

Do I need a permit for a porta potty in Fort Wayne?

A porta potty on your own private property in Fort Wayne needs no permit. A unit placed in a street, sidewalk or alley needs a Right of Way obstruction permit from the City of Fort Wayne. Events in city parks follow the Parks special-event rules.

Under the 2010 ADA Standards section 213.2, at least 5 percent of portable toilets in each cluster must be accessible where the standard applies, such as public events. Ask your venue or permit office what your event requires.

OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities where workers handle contaminants such as paint, concrete or coatings. A hand wash station or a toilet with a built-in sink covers that need.

Is your waste disposal legal?

Waste from our units is hauled to permitted treatment facilities, as Indiana's septage rules under 327 IAC 7.1 require.

Winter rentals

Do porta potties freeze in Fort Wayne winters?

Fort Wayne's January low averages about 15°F, so from November through March we add a salt-brine or antifreeze mix to the tank on each service. That keeps the waste tank liquid. The charge is included.

Can you service units after a snowstorm?

Service visits continue in winter. Keep a path to the unit shoveled and the truck access plowed. If snow blocks access, we return on the next route day at no charge.
